I thought it was Taylor who first started working on Woods album ,I’ve Got My Own Album to Do, and thenKeith about it and joined in later.Taylor and Wood were friends from the late sixties before Taylor joined the Stones.Keith playing on Woods album had nothing to do with Taylor’s bad decision to leave the Stones. No one forced Taylor out.Taylor thought he was going to start the next Cream with Bruce.

On the "Ain't Too Proud To Beg" video Mick Taylor is doing background vocals and seems a lot more relaxed and assertive than he had ever been before.

He looked like an actual full-fledged Rolling Stone instead of a quiet virtuoso choirboy. (See his caricature on the Welcome To New York bootleg cover)

I sometimes wonder what the TOTA '75 would have been like had he stuck around a few more years. The Black and Blue album would have been finished earlier in time for the tour and performed live in '75.

With Taylor they would have probably done "Time Waits For No One" as well.

Imagine Taylor playing Hot Stuff! That would be awesome! ;-)

Taylor on the 75-76 tours would have been really cool. I'm not sure if the 78-81 tours as we know them would have happened with him.
