Prior to Dancing in the Streets in the '80's, did Bowie and Mick ever work together on anything?

Reminds me what Charlie said, that being in the Stones was 25 years of waiting around. And how much of Keith's look was a product of being wasted and how much was being up for three days in a row

This interview/video is a graphic reminder of how close, during the mid seventies, we were to losing Keith. For example, a big difference between
Keith of 1974 and Keith of 1981.
Indeed. 1974 wasn't a great year for the Stones I think.
Mick and Keith were working with Ronnie Wood for his 1st solo album.
Bill Wyman was busy with his own solo album Monkey Grip.
Keith Richards was spending time with Ronnie a lot.
Mick Taylor wasn't happy with the decisions within the band.
He was sick for a while during recording sessions.
And we all know what happened on December 1974.

Doh! Of course, IORR recorded late 1973 and early 1974. Then full stop for MT.
Why? Didn’t he play on Wood’s albums anyway, and wasn’t he old friends with Wood?

Wood never played on Taylors albums. That's a bit strange too,

You don't see it in the b/w shots here.
But Mick Taylor never looked as happy and dedicated as in the videos for the Iorr album.

I wonder if he wasnt even worse in the late 70s maybe with a few exceptions like the -78 tour. He looked like a corpse in 1980. And then in 1981 he became the clean(er) re-energized 80s Keith.

Did they go into the studio after that?
