"We’re told the rock legend slipped in a side entrance because he wanted to keep a low profile.

According to an insider, he told organizers, “When I go to a fund-raiser, it’s like Santa Claus at Macy’s: Everyone wants to sit on my lap and have a photo taken.”

Added the insider, “He says he’s well and hale.”

Great news! Thanks for sharing, Bashlets! thumbs up

Well, he can't let those pretty young things sit on his lap or Melanie Hamrick might tear our his heart. He's not on tour now.

Never mind all this about Mick.
Far more important how was Melanie's ballet received. By audiences and critics?

I was at ballet last night
I did not see Mick- venue held about 2500
Event had 7pm start time but started at 715pm first 25 minutes was student performance.
The stones ballet was the first of several performances. In the program it might have been performed 5th but went first.
Lasted about 10 minutes similar to preview in Saint Petersburg at 2:06:00
[www.youtube.com]
Event ended around 915pm.
Yesterday was the donor night so afterwards was a dinner I did not attend.
Tonight friday is night two.

Sounds like Mick can get away with what most of us can't when attending kids' piano recitals, etc. - slip in and out quietly, skip the rest of the program.

Thank you for the link!
I know very little about ballet, but I loved it.
Yes, exciting fav music,
but the 3 dancers, then 4 male dancers together at the end, aesthetically pleasing in a geometric fashion to my eyes to watch.
Melanie was perfect in ‘Rainbow’
BRAVO.

Are caps obligatory in the U.S? Do you get fined not using one?

He is walking fast to make sure he is ok before full workouts - like the movie "Sea Biscuit" "It's step by step"

I bet Mick looks great, but the shutterbugs always use the most unattractive pic to show his age and fragility. Look at the pic in the blue blazer. They probably snapped 75 pics of him in a minute. The editor said “ jagger looks the most old and frail in this one-print it”. It’s like when he left an Xmas party in London 2017 and his bodyguard had a hand on his arm going down the stairs probably for one second and they printed that inferring the old man needed help getting into the car.

I wonder why posters are saying he looks great when clearly he doesn't.
I was shocked by those pics, hope he leaves touring for another year, the man needs a rest imho.

He looks like an in-shape 75 year old who just had surgery. It takes a while to come back to yourself.
