There IS a way to write an article like this about the Stones where even if we, as fans, don't agree, we could at least chuckle over some insightful wordplay or clever insults.

This is NOT it. I'm not above having a laugh at the Stones' expense (they certainly have plenty in their history to mock), but everything about this article is bush league: the quality of writing, the observations...it's like a 12 year old wrote it.

"Sticky Fingers" isn't a song, jerk-writer. And as stated above, Keith said no such thing about "Singing satisfaction when I'm 40." That was Mick (the guy who sings Satisfaction) and it said nothing about "killing himself." If you're going to write a piece dissing the Stones (and there are some valid reasons to diss the Stones), don't write crap that isn't true.

I really hate it when some asswipe comes along, and tries to pass himself off as someone with working knowledge of the topic at hand. By dropping certain titles/ names like "@#$%& Blues" and "Altamont" he can bluff his way into being an expert. His 'opinions' are so far off the mark, that they actually become factually wrong.
