According to the very latest news, they won`t. Neither with drummer Paul Thompson, but Eddie Jobson will play with them.

It's about time.

When U2 were inducted (in 2005!) they wondered aloud how they had jumped the queue ahead of Roxy Music.

I saw Bryan Ferry live last week. The old Roxy tunes that he did sounded great. Remake/REmodel would make a great "jam" at the end of the Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Great song but completely unrealistic. The "jam" is a song everyone knows.

Do The Strand or Editions. Remake would be a close third. It would nice to see Paul Thompson

Its a US based HOF. Roxy Music are not that big a deal in the US. I'm glad for them, but also slightly shocked they're even getting inducted. Someone must have pulled it big time for them.

Bryan Ferry alone is worthy of the R&R HOF.

Bryan Ferry had an unusal appareance for a Rockstar; he looked more like a slick Wall street banker from the 80's.It worked for him, an eccentric!

I met him in a backstage area, and he went to great pains to introduce us to MacKay and Manzanera. Then he remembered every one of our names in conversations. And we were really just a bunch of bratty kids. But he was a gentleman. I just could not get over that he used every one of our names afterwards. As a matter of fact he spoke on the importance of being a gentleman.

One says he looked like "a slick Wall St. banker from the 80's."

The other says he was a gentleman.

Can't be both.

In Bryan"s early years, he tried on many different looks. A leather rocker, a glam rocker, and a "German" military officer. He also wore a tux at times, not exactly a Wall Street banker look.

Fantastic band their first 3 albums are quintessential and emotive. Should be in every household - In Every Dream Home A Heartache.

The only thing I’d like to see in there is an F4 tornado sending that glorified Hard Rock Cafe into small pieces floating in Lake Erie.
At night of course ,with no one there.

Maybe Gene Simmons and Sammy Hagar could have just pooped in for a minute...

Sammy's a real nice guy. I wouldn't put him in sort of category with Gene Simmons. When I was in high school, I interviewed Sammy for our high school paper. He treated me like a real journalist. 1 of the early stepping stones on the road to ruin. haha

Never considered them to be a rock and roll band. But then, only know a few songs.
