Was lucky enough to see him a number of times before his unfortunate accident.

His brand of Folk maybe isn't one of the most followed genres amongst regular visitors to these pages but it's spawned many outstanding talents... many of whom have flown under the commercial radar to be appreciated & respected mostly by fellow musicians.
Nic was perhaps one of those.

lovely music. I hadn't heard of this gentleman before just now, ty.
heartbreaking beyond my understanding; such comprehensive and brutal injuries,
so saddening. The love and interest surrounding him, and the recognition that
brings his music to me and others so far away today, is heartening. A lot of Love in that concert footage with the young (and excellent) player accompanying him so beautifully. Tragic but triumphant.
