My selection would be

Salt of the earth (Atlantic City 1989)

I would prefer the Twickenham [20.9.03] version that is without GNR interference.

Nothing from Los Angeles 13.7.75 yet?

Wild Horses
Tumbling Dice
IORR
Midnight Rambler
SFTD (even with Jagger's vocal mix up)

Take your pick - all excellent versions!

Gimmie Shelter live from the 69 tour...The version played from the movie with the same name!
It has to be part of this album...Its very haunting...Its very Rolling Stones!!

Satisfaction--From the 1969 Tour...The version from one of the best concerts ever...Ny city.
The same version they released on the Get yer ya-ya's out movie!!
Some of the very best examples of "weaving guitars" by Keith and Mick Taylor..WOW!!!

interesting thread this

i thought that CYHMK hadnt been played live, i heard it was included in Bill's book on a setlist or something, but that this may be wrong/a mistake?

I've Boobed before (ahem 'tops' eye rolling smiley ) so will be happy to be corrected here
IF I'm wrong, WOOO HOOOOO - any tape/boot of this anywhere? one of my fav tunes of all time

any info would be great!

To the best of my knowledge, CYHMK was never performed live before the Licks Tour. Various interviews say they'd rehearsed it before but it always fell apart when they got to the jam part at the end. I guess the iron hand of Chuck L. forced them to keep rehearsing it till they got it right.

You wrote your words into my, so now it seems like I said something I didn't
If you 2 took the time to read that link, you'll see that it's proved that they played CYHMK in 1971

Practised and possibly played it ? No, not at all

The paper wrote this about the concert
A new song follows, "Can't You Hear Me Knocking", fast and jumpy in the same vein as "Jumpin Jack Flash" marred only by some flat picking by Keith on his plexiglass model.
