Hey mick jagger and stones are the best rock band in the world no band will ever come close to them.MICK JAGGER is brillant singer who has sung in so many styles and still going strong at 68 years of age,most of the so called fans on this site are always putting JAGGER AND STONES DOWN,why don't you fade away and start a band and see how good you will be,we are lucky to have the STONES still going ask the BEATLES FANS AND LED ZEPPLIN who envy us that they still going,even JIMMY PAGE,STING

Both the Beatles and Led Zeppelin come close...it becomes a matter of taste, as they've both put out unbelievably good music. For my particular taste, I'll agree with you.

What people? Classical music accounts for only a minuscule percentage of total record sales, just as in another couple hundred years, rock music will account for only a minuscule percentage of total record sales. Actually, that's already beginning to happen.

The only person still talking about those people is the person who compiled the list. There will always a few people who devote their lives to things nobody else cares about. That's what historians do.
