Little did they know what was waiting for them.

Interesting, and pretty funny. I liked Charlie's resistance to Mick trying to get him to kiss the girl on the forehead. What was Mick's end-game there? A shot of each of the Stones kissing some chick on the forehead? Not exactly riveting stuff, thankfully Charlie saved the day.

Charlie should have punched him.

It would have cut to the chase by 15 years.

When the sh*t hit the fan (literally).

one of my favorite jagger clips ever - he's still in that dreamy, druggy, Pan-like phase - before all the hard-edged business guy stuff locked in. Charlie though, still seems the same - how can ya not adore Charlie Watts? And Ian Stewart - just amazing.

Yes, Stu and Charlie in this clip here - so cool. Two of the very few people on the planet who will say "F8ck, no" to Mick Jagger.
What exactly does Charlie say about not wanting to be 'flippant on celluloid'?
But what always cracks me up about that clip is how obviously the group of people defers to Jagger the minute he shows up. Immediately the whole scene becomes about him.

He said something like "Love is much more of a deeper thing than that. It's not flippant to be thrown away on celluloid"

Ah cool, that is at the top of my list of future purchases. It's only running around $40 these days when I've seen it on Amazon.

Just out of curiosity, what is that Guitar Hero 5 thing? Does it give you some Stones downloads for it or something?

Funny that some kid punched Mick (Jagger) when the band arrived at Altamount. Same kid then screamed at Jagger "I hate you!". I thought everyone loved Mick? grinning smiley

Who is the guy between Ian Stewart and Mick Jagger, brown jacket at 1.40?

He is also seen in the Gimme Shelter movie at the hotel room when listening to Brown Sugar

That's Stanley Booth. The tall guy taking photos is Ethan Russell.

My library's copy didn't have the Guitar Hero thing, and none probably do now, from what this says that I just copied and pasted from a promotional summary of the box set's contents: "A limited number of box sets will also have an insert with a code to download `I'm Free (Live)' for Guitar Hero."
