Been listening to both tonight and comparing tracks... Having a hard time deciding which one to buy (and no, I won't get both, they're both from the same tour and relatively identical setlists). So far, I get the impression that FM might be singing better on the Hungarian date, but I'm still on the fence overall.
For those of you who are familiar with both, which do you prefer and why?
For me the Hungary concert has a special energy, a realness. I feel Wembley was more perfect but yet kind of sterile. Usually "Hungary" is my go to concert when I want to hear Queen.
Wembley is a better mix, I think. Spike (keyboard player) is too much to the fore in the Hungary show. While Freddie was much better in Hungary, I think Wembley has more of a vibe to it. It's not like he's unlistenable at Wembley, he just doesn't reach for quite as many of the high notes as he does in Hungary.
