I never saw the logo as Mick's mouth.

What I always saw, and still do to this day, is the eyes. I can't get away from the idea that those white reflections on the lips are "the eyes of the tongue".

With all the money it has and will continue to generate, I always thought the auction of the original artwork was a steal.

They left off the iconic Grateful Dead's Steal your Face logo.

The Beatles logo should be somewhere and also Prince's sign.

Of course it's the Stones, but keep in mind the poll was limited to only "2,000 UK adults"...
If it were based on US adults, you'd still see the Stones at the top, but probably wouldn't see the Frankie Say Relax logo, and instead might see The Doors...or even KFC and McDonalds lol.

Have to remember this survey is for the most popular logo as seen on tshirts. I would think the Nike swoosh logo, McDonalds golden arches, Amazon, etc. are a lot more well known worldwide.
I remember wearing a Stones t shirt while playing badminton and a guy in his 40s asked me what it was!
Also, read a statistic that I don't know if it's true but I believe it: Ramones have sold more tshirts than actual albums! I've seen Ramones tshirts in Walmart before, along with Stones, AC/DC, Beatles, Pink Floyd, etc.
