Your song was original a B-side?

Late in the year, some radio DJs checked out the B-side of the “Pilot” single, which was a throwaway track from the Elton John album. They began to play it. This was not typical at the time. The B-side was a forlorn-sounding piano-based track.
The first words of the song went, “It’s a little bit funny / This feeling inside …”

Earlier this week I got into a random Elton mode and listened to Tumbleweed Connection, Madman Across The Water, and the 17-11-70 live album thats sandwiched in between them. What an incredibly brilliant run of albums and that is only a small taste of his amazing catalogue. His run from his self titled to Captain Fantastic (minus Caribou IMO) is pretty flawless. Definitely a legend, definitely looking forward to reading this. I could make like 2 or 3 setlists of JUST deep tracks I'd love to hear from him.

Nice article, thanks for posting. Other than the Goodbye Yellowbrick Road double which I always loved I was late in coming to appreciate how talented Elton John is but I certainly do now.
