Listening to a Stones tribute album I actually like...

Anyone heard of 'Paint It Black: An Alt-Country Tribute To The Rolling Stones'? Not to be confused with that Paint It Blue album... This is much better... If you're into the acoustic-heavy alt-country groups. I'm listening to it on Spotify right now and it's the best Stones tribute album I've heard so far. Particularly interesting is the treatment Matthew Ryan gives to 'Streets of Love,' I must say it works better than the original. I was never a big fan of the song, but this version is surprisingly good.

alt-country album with a cool version of JJF was posted here some time ago...
I remember listening to an album called "All Blues'd Up" or something. I didn't like it.

but I generally hate tribute albums.

The Reggae Tribute Album is very good.

Love the slide.

These guys by the way do accompanying music to the Cool Runnings movie with John Candy, the movie about the Jamaican bobsledders going to the Calgary winter olympics. Good stuff.
