after 129 Stones shows people should be experienced enough to be able to get a card board sign into a venue…

Oh I see how it is (I was in town! No invite)
But your body guard’s jacket has an Elmo Stones tounge.
No worries mate, I was IN KEITH’S PIT >grinning smiley<
(which is incidentally behind Jagger’s monitor)
and apparently in No Filter 2, where the freaks go.

I recognize the Gimme Shelter shirt, and even though his back is to the camera, I think I recognize the guy whose wearing it from back in the Shidoobee days during the Licks tour.
Bill is his name (aka 19thnervousbreakdown on shidoobee if memory serves), and he actually gave me one of those shirts!
Him and good old Fred Hardin - customized Stones shirt specialists! thumbs up

Yeah the Gimmie Shelter dude was a American guy hangin'
round the bar after the Show …. I spoke to him briefly
but he was reserved … didn't say much and preferred to sit on his own...

Maybe he wasn't in the mood for a vodka loaded Aussie guy ….!!!

Haha...I recall him being reserved as well, but he was known to meet and greet various band members,
band family members, etc., giving them his t-shirts, and then posting the pics on shidoobee.

Yes I know him as well. He’s a good guy and works hard on his Stones related art.
Very generous to other Stones fans.

This isn't the guy who used to have his own self-made denim jacket on which was some of his own art including one with the words CHARLIE RULES, is it? He also used to create his own Stones posters and gave me one in Vancouver, Nov 2006. Hi Tom.

My first Stones concert was Akron Rubber Bowl, July 11, 1972. Two of us brought in a cooler stuffed with ice, beer, cassette recorder, camera, and last but not least a full oz of prime wacky stuff. Nobody searched it. Those were the days!

The cassette survived until the 1990's. It turned out to be a darned good recording except for me shouting "woo hoo, well alright" all thru Brown Sugar and Bitch. Should have had it bootlegged. Got the whole gig.

And now you can't even get a cardboard SIGN in???? What has this world come to.
