She looked familiar, and then I realized she's singer for the Mike Hunt Band - a lighthearted Stones tribute band from New York.
Visited some old shiddoobee friends while in NY about 10 yrs. ago, and they took me to see her at a small pub - not sure what band she was fronting at the time, but they were doing a set of Blondie covers...

Seriously, I listened to the super duper remaster recently. I listened to the instrumental versions. I gave it as much open mindedness as I'm capable. It's a mess. There are transcendent moments, interesting attempts at something, but all in all the work as a whole is a strange trip.
