I believe it's because it was only released in a limited run deluxe box set. Same applies to the CD. I could be wrong though.

14 songs in 90 minutes! I don't think so somehow.

just get one of the 16,000 bootleg LP release from the last 45 years--the official release yanked all the balls out of the mix---the old recordings were superior.

It was a limited release in 2012. Also various bonuses were included (a Seiko watch...) See here : [www.discogs.com]

The best price you can find for the CD is from the Japan-only special edition of Marquee Club : [www.discogs.com]

Bought the huge deluxe box several years ago during a massive blowout sale for only $150.
In hindsight I should have bought two at that price as the original asking price was upwards to $400 (?), and have no idea how much it might be going for now.
Very nice box with loads of extra goodies.

"Vinyl is not meant for people who can't afford vinyl. Complain to me about the price of vinyl and I'll charge more" - paraphrasing King Buzzo from the Melvins documentary.

Actually official Brussels affair is a mix of both shows. See here [www.nzentgraf.de] (entry #111117A)

I hate it when they do that with the live albums...

Yes it’s definitely two shows. JJF on the boot has a blistering solo and Dancing With Mr. D is audibly different because Taylor chokes one of the opening bends on the official release haha

Maybe they are trying to play catch up, all at one time, for so many years of missed revenues on these shows.

I will add, although I am no taylorite nutjob... this was the first Stones boot I bought and MT's playing on this has always blown me away... it is incredible rock and roll. It is parked in my travel bag and is alwasy played in rental cars on vacation.

I didnt buy the official version...I didnt see a reason to.

No. Only BS, MR and SFM.

The rest is from the other Brussels show, except for Taylor's ADTL-solo, which was spliced into the other version.

Dandy, that’s so weird they spliced it. I remember when it came out people talking about that, but I don’t remember why.

I believe it is on a small 5 inch reel to reel tape.
The quality is not that great but not that bad for that time.. As you see many
of these songs are not complete. I have these recordings but I don't know if
it's worth as much as they are asking (IMHO).
I know of only two other recordings that exist from this time period of the Stones playing live in concert. So this item is definitely something to have or own but at what price? Where is the auction and when?
