Ringo didn't play in the open-handed style. So yes, he's not exactly Ringo Starr (a great drummer, by the way).

He is almost as good as John Bonham. Maybe a Mobey Dick drum solo from the kid?

Yeah you don't see too many open hand drummers these days
I grew up with one, I always thought that because he never took lessons he played that way.

Technically, not that bad. I am impressed by the one-handed left handed rolls, not that easy to do. Whether or not it is a groove, that is another matter entirely.

I've seen this before. LOATHE his music, but the kid's talented - I will give credit where it's due. Personally, I think he may have a Justin Timberlake-esque future ahead of him where he goes beyond being teeny-bopper to being a respected pop musician - if he doesn't screw it up that is.

He'll probably be OK. He currently has a net worth more than Charlie Watts. Gross, but true.

He left a $120 tip for dinner at a DC steakhouse with Selena Gomez his squeeze.

In case you were wondering what the teenage popstar power couple enjoyed that evening, the insider says they split the organic chicken and filet mignon, and also enjoyed the wood roasted 'magical' mushrooms, black truffle mac and cheese and roasted baby eggplant. For dessert, they had coconut cream pavlova and crunchy profiteroles -- bringing the bill to around $120 before taxes. "Justin was very generous with his tip. Let's just say the tip was almost as the same amount as the entire dinner."

Hollywoodlife reports the couple, who stayed in the $10,000 a night presidential suite at the Four Seasons hotel, shared a romantic dinner at DC restaurant, Bourbon Steak.
