Should be a great show. I'll check 'em out in Phoenix. I'm curious to see what Dwight looks like. He played the warden in the movie, Logan Lucky, and if I hadn't noticed his name in the credits, I never would have known it was him. And, if you haven't seen Logan Lucky, do. It's a great caper film with Daniel "James Bond" Craig as a hillbilly safecracker. He's great in the role.

I'm seeing Steve Earle with the Dukes only in a few weeks!

Steve Earle a favorite of mine. He plays Hardly Strictly Bluegrass every year. I expect this will be on the bill too.

Presumably some of them have other commitments

I have tickets to see Steve and The Dukes in Belfast on July 25th. Bought them several weeks ago. Hes on tour in Europe from June 30 to July 29

This is a really fantastic line up.

I think they would perform as listed.

Hopefully they'll add more dates and go to Texas and Las Vegas. Yoakam and Earle on the same night would fantastic.

Odd that there are no dates listed in the Los Angeles area, or anywhere in between San Diego and San Francisco for that matter.
Hoping for something closer to home...maybe/hopefully a show (or some shows) will be added later.

He has been pretty much been acting in films all along. and he is always almost unrecognizable. The man just REALLY knows how to wear a cowboy hat. First time I saw him, here actually was chicks screaming; the whole bit. He would come out in those tight jeans and boots, and the ladies went wild. But it's always been the lone wastelands under that hat, LOL.
I wonder if he will have Pete Anderson along.
I am surprised that it seems he is getting top billing over Steve Earle and Lucinda. Dwight used to be huge but hasn't done anything in so long.

Pete Anderson hasn't played with Dwight Yoakam for many years. Don't know the particulars or the outcome, but he sued Yoakam at one point.

Lucinda Williams is the headliner of the LSD Tour.

Dwight will be the closer not Lucinda. Dwight has been putting out an average of 1 new record every 2 years. He does not fit into today's "country" format but tours constantly and constantly sells out every show. He has a Huge cult following. His band is the same as he's always had with the exception of Pete Anderson. The "new" guitar player is very good and rocks very hard. Tip: bring ear plugs as they play ear-splittingly loud.

Thanks,ByeByeJohnny & Bungo. I always get Dwight's releases, but havent seen him live in ages and ages; unlike the other two. I had also heard that it will be him head lining, and that does surprise me. The other two have been far more present in music, but it makes sense for Steve Earle to not desire the top spot, and Lucinda pretty has earned it.
Truth is, it doesn't really matter, LOL

I think Lucinda will be the closer, with an encore that includes of all of them doing a couple numbers together. Either way, should be a few great concerts!

Do you have a source for that?

No source, but I vote for Dwight being the closer.
That might be a good way to settle it - have fans who purchase tickets cast their vote.
Might be a close race, and would be fair for everyone involved.

Still waiting/wondering if there will be any show in the L.A. or Central coast area - there's alot of space and people in between San Francisco and San Diego who would be happy to go!

Live Nation's offering $20 "All-In" tickets for a few LSD shows:

6/12 - Boston

6/19 - Baltimore

8/3- San Diego

Was just looking at Boston - the $20 seats are there - toward the back, but boy - it looks like maybe they've sold 25% of the total tickets. Sad state of affairs for a quality bill.
