I agree with you NICOS, that would have been most interesting. Particularly if say in 1968 or 69, they got together as a group and said, you cover two of our toons and we'll cover two of yours.
Stones were the closest in terms of popularity and were friends, so the Beatles wouldn't really have had much downside, and for the Stones, lots of upside.
For the Stones covering the Beatles, Baby Your a Rich Man and Lady Madonna (or Back in the USSR) would be my picks.
