OT: Question about recording concerts in good stereo sound.

My son is in a brass band (no damn loud guitars LOL) and I've been getting great photos using my Nikon D7200 and when the lighting is good just using my iPhone. My problem however, has been capturing really good audio - neither camera does it very well and I was wondering if anyone has had some luck capturing some good sound in concerts and which type of camera to use or the new devices that attach to the iPhone. If anyone's curious, here's a link to two videos of their band - one is a pro-shot at Coney Island NY and the second one is video I shot. So far my efforts to get them to cover a Stones song have fallen on deaf ears LOL

If you want at the same time ability to take stills and shoot movies, Panasonic cameras are the best. Especially the GH series.
