I am - very much. But I confess I did not know what Mr. Bramwell looked like. Not enough to pick him out of three seconds of a clip anyway. smiling smiley

Mick had cut his hair short for filming on "Ned Kelly" sometime in 69, he was even wearing a wig at the Hyde Park concert...
not saying if its Mick or not, just pointing out the short hair doesnt rule him out

I think it looks like Jagger from January 1967 circa Ed Sullivan Show. Clearly, we have found proof that the quip about Mick being "a great bunch of guys" was not fanciful.

Well, I just took Bill Wyman at his word(he even says who fitted Mick for it) but if you know more than Bill,well....

Have a question: on Bramwell's site there are stories about all the famous rockers in that era in Swingin London. It says Hendrix ripped through "Sgt Pepper" (the song) soon after that album's release in front of an audience that included Clapton. EC was much in awe of Jimi. After that song Jimi asked Clapton to come up and tune his Strat for him. EC tried to hide awaY in his seat. Now I always thought that Hendrix was a gentle soul; especially that early on. But saying something like that to another famous guitarist sounds like disrespect to me. How else could it have been meant?

Paul McCartney usually tells the same story on some of his concerts. I don't think it's disrespectful, quite the contrary to me. It's a lighthearted joke, like "come help me man I can't even tune this damn guitar".
