probably on the Beatles site.

Though there is a small category of folks who constantly start Beatles vs. Stones threads.

Add the sectarians, a tiny minority who think that Mick Taylor ruined everything, left the playing to Keith and could not play guitar at all (except for boring doodling).

I think the band was at it's peak with Taylor, but I'm not a Taylorite. I just happen to think it was their peak because they were old enough to know how to do it all, and still young enough to pull it all off.

Unless I missed it, I can't believe no one thought of the next tour diehards- the ones constantly saying they need to/will tour again, it will be everything they've always wished for, Keith will miraculously return to form, and Taylor and Wyman should/will join them. Along with Jeff Beck.

And "friendly roof"? This place? Not hardly. Unless of course you're part of the ruling clique. Everything's puppies and rainbows to them.

Jeff is not a stone. Let him do his thing.

IMO, they should do it one more time - just to round it off. A big party for the fans (and themselves).

Otherwise fondly known as The Department of Historical Accuracy.

it occurs to me you've left out the single category with the largest representation:

the permanently banned

these are the posters who have been banned for bad behavior and now post under new identities.

Then, of course, there's the current posters with multiple identities.

Nice post Tele71!
Made me laugh!
I don't like being categorized, but maybe I can't help but being a born a #9. If I had to chose,
I'd love to be a #2.

Well, no one likes to be categorized, but we all recognize ourselves somewhere in there I think...It was all meant in fun.

Good list from a true and passionate fan. I would add the Brian Jones people who feel the Natural Magic evaporated once Brian left/departed. There is something about the Brian Jones Stones that is incredibly earthy and deep. Kinda mystical, really.
