This looks interesting. WHFS was very popular for awhile in the Maryland/DC area, even sponsoring music festivals. 'HFS was the radio station, along with a few local college stations, that turned me on to all kinds of alternative music. Alas, I think, there's nothing like it anymore.

I remember collecting 1,000 signatures to keep the station on the air. The film needs another $50,000 for music rights to get it out there. It is a fabulous story brought up david Bromberg, little feat, nrbq and many other bands into the limelight. good times were had by all
