Just checked the timings on the 'Nassau Night' bootleg of the fabled NY Eve show from 1980, and yep, last night's show appears to be a couple of minutes longer.

Bring on 'The Boss' - can't wait for friday in Manchester - lets hope he busts the stupid curfew point - no doubt about it,the best value for money ticket on the planet.

Hi Ged,

Couldn't agree more, although as some wise-ass put it over on Backstreets message board,

"Bossman66 wrote:
From Nils on facebook:

'Hi all, great Madrid crowd for our longest show this tour, 3 hrs, 48 min. Wow! Audience energy makes it happen. Thanks! Peace and Believe, Nils'

So if you want a longer show, you know what to do, MAKE SOME NOISE!!!!"

And the sage reply,

"Expect 22 songs in Manchester then. 18 at Hyde Park."

Fingers crossed for half-decent weather!

Cheers,

Simon.

My 2nd Springsteen show yesterday night...27 years after the first one in the same city !
"Only" 3h05 long but it was incredibly energic, the Boss was on fire !
All the french shows, and only the french shows in Europe this year, are indoor ones.

He is scheduled to play 2hours 45 on the Sunday headline slot at the Isle of Wight - a short festival setlist, eh?

Can't say I'm a huge Springsteen fan, so I won't be posting setlists, but I'm looking forward to this. (and Tom Petty Friday night too).

Hello,

I can only agree with everyone else's feelings about last night's astounding show. So here are my less-than-astounding photos to sully it all for ya'!

I did video 'Twist And Shout' but YouTube is taking an age to work...probably for the best as far as Kurt is concerned...

See you in Dublin!

Cheers,

Simon.

Stones Fans attended The Boss shows in Paris. I could only make the 2nd show. Just a short summarize : Happy. What he did during his 3 1/2 hours show was simply astonishing. Thnaks to this man. He deserves his triumph. Announced to be coming back next year for a Stade de France show.

Ok, so its still not confirmed by Bruce or his management?

I think Steve van Zandt said at the start of this tour that it would run for 15 months or so, so I think a second visit to Europe in 2013 would be a near certainty.

Re: OT:Bruce Springsteen 2012 Tour

Hi Gazza -

Plans of the second leg of the US Tour are scant at this time as only 16-18 shows are scheduled (Backstreets.Com). Currently, only major Northeast & Midwest markets are scheduled. Boston, DC, Chicago, Canada just to name a few. Hopefully, the US remaining American dates will come into focus soon. We're nearly in mid July with no news of late.

I think a second leg of an Euro tour would great. Howevever, I don't want to see S. Florida overlooked on this tour. Although Tampa was entertained (great concert) we are in a different world down here.

Moreover, reason of concern involves scheduling conflicts with the Sports World. In other words, the availability of venues versus sports or even entertainemnt events already scheduled in this locale may be a constraint.

Please let me or the room know of any developments with respect of any tour updates.

Thanks!!

I think the US will get a third 'leg' in the first part of 2013, Chris.

Still think there's time to add a few arena shows for later this year as well.

Lots of gaps in the market there that haven't been filled yet.

There was talk a while back of an Australian jaunt as well.

2013? That's the first I've heard of US dates in early 2013. Most of the speculation is that their will be a round of arena shows in October and November.

If the E-Street band shows-up in Australia - I expect the Geico Lizard & Rockman both to be there in attendance-- if they are not one in the same grinning smiley (SCL it's American joke that they won't get, although funny in nature)

Hmmm...as I am seriously considering a trip down under this December or February, if Bruce announces shows there, I will have to remain flexible.

I'm just guessing.

I cant imagine that if hes touring until the middle of 2013 that there wouldnt be a US leg in there at some point.

I went down under last night, phew boy, lemme tell ya. Luckily, Bruce Springsteen was nowhere to be found down there, though I think I felt a little Steven.

Jokes aside, his Roskilde gig gets some good reviews.
