would have loved to see 1967 and 1970 (and everything before, and US 1969 and 1972, but I was to young, and they didn't play Switzerland)

Very happy to have seen Bern 1973 and Zurich 1976, and Basel 1982.

also was in Basel 1990, 1995, and Dübendorf 2006, Lausanne 2007, Zurich 2014 and 2017.

regret missing Licks in Zurich

What I've seen: the American Tour '81, Steel Wheels, Voodoo, Bridges, Licks, ABB, 50 and Counting, Zip Code, and last years Desert Trips x 2 and *Vegas.
Favorite of all of them would be '81 tour, Licks, and 50 and Counting.

Favorites that I never saw - all of them pre-'81.

Saw - Voodoo and B2B (Veterans stadium PHL). No Security - from a luxury suite at the Wachovia center in PHL! Licks - 2/3 of the arena show in PHL. Had to leave during CYHMK because my wife was sick (not sick drunk - sick with the flu). She tried to hang in but could not. So I would add the last 1/3 of that PHL to my 'wish list'. Also on the 'wish I saw list' was the last show in PHL where they played Under the Boardwalk. I was going to buy a last minute ticket, but had to weigh the cost against other priorities, and decided not to buy the ticket. Of course it turned out to be one of the best shows on that tour and I missed it. sad smiley My neighbor had tickets to the Tower Theater on the Licks tour - so that's also on the wish list !

Can't help feeling envious of all you who saw the Stones on their best tours. The first tour I was old enough to see was the Bigger Bang tour. Obviously all the previous tours were better.

Judging from bootlegs:
1. Licks tour
2. Bridges to Babylon
3. 1976 tour
4. 1981 tour
5. No Security tour

The tours I saw:
1. 2007 tour - uneven but often brilliant
2. 2017 tour
3. 2014 tour - felt a bit uninspired

What's odd is I met a gal in the beverage line at the 1978 Anaheim show, and she saw them in 1966, 12 years before. At the time, it seemed like an eternity. "Oh, my God! 1966?!!"

as great and exciting as the 78 shows were to me - saw them in Philly (my first Stones show) but they were so far away, and this was in the days before video screens. I had battled pretty good, and was fairly close down on the grass but it was still a constant struggle to see. It was outside so sound wasnt too good.
At the Palladium in NYC where I traded my rent money and Springsteen tix for Stones, I hate to say, I was so out of it on liquor and drugs that I don't remember all that much.
So the best Stones-y shows in that period were Keith showing up at the Bottom Line one night; and then seeing the New Barbarians at MSG.

How old were you then?? Must have been awesome, just for the experience.

Don't be sad that you missed it. Licks zurich was rather average. Basel 95 was much better. Dübendorf was an unexpected highlight, much stronger than munich 06 and stuttgart 06. I'm jealous, you saw them 1976 ;-)

1975 Seattle Coliseum..
Was there.. but have little recollection.

Like the old saying used mostly for the sixties.
If you remember the seventies, you weren't there.. or something.
Seen clips that have jogged my memory some..
Hope to one day find complete show..cool smiley

The most recent concert is always my favourite. Of the regrets of missed shows? Every Toronto club gig ever [headsmack!] as well as Circus Maximus and Lucca. Fingers crossed for next year...
