This is the first time ever I've *paid* for a download. It feels....wrong! But it'll be worth it of course

I hope the Stones will make 10 million bucks with this release. Then Jagger sure will decide to make every 1969 to 1982 show available for $7 per show!

Mathijs

And they will stop touring...

Has anyone from the UK (or Europe) had any luck with the download problems yet?

No issues here (Scotland). Downloaded in 2 minutes flat.

And sounds AMAZING

Strange...mine seems to open with a .aspx download...debating whether to try again, but don't want to fork out another $9 (even though it's worth it!)

Will the US downloaded files only play on an Google Music/Android device? Or can I play them on any device?

Have you installed java on your computer? You do need for this thing to work!
Don't fork out another 9$ yet.

And I´ve tried ....and failed.
Bizarre enough...if they won´t accept my damned card.....in contrary to stonestod suggest I will not
invest in a vinyl factory or CD laboratory......I just wait for a vinyl or CD release....

I waited for 30 years....I can take easily another...weeks...months....years.
To be honest,I can´t.

The title for this thread should be renamed to: "Remixed Brussels Affair - You'd Be A Fool Not To Buy It"

It sounds impeccably wonderful.

And yes, the US downloaded files can be played through Google Music and then downloaded/saved onto your computer as mp3's which you can then burn onto a disc and then put into a stereo to crank at full volume.

nooooo!!! you've gone over to the dark side???

There's a demon running in me right now, yes I can see that - it must be the act of surprise with these news on IORR today....it caught me completely off guard. I'll get a doctor's appointment, and hope he's able to help
I took the "demon"as a hint, but no luck so far ;-)

Great, but google music truncated all the files.
A nice pop between each track.

I guess that's what 4.99 gets you

Free would be better!

some kind soul on one of the free illegal sites will surely de-click or de-pop it for us and offer us the much-sought-after free illegal version soon, i'm sure.

Agreed.
I thought I'd do my part to fulfill Jagger's Open The Vaults Completely ransom.
But wow...the product ain't so good! Sound is though. Y'know, between the pops.

Lucky Lounge eh?
Enjoy it. You would still have time to catch Dale at Highball too.
What a great Thursday night. I'll be putting a budgeting meeting together...and shaking Erik down for some FLAC files of the popless sort....

I have to admit that this is also the first time i've paid for a download; But on the other hand: This is one of the best albums the Stones put out the last 40 years, and that for only $9.....!!!

I burned a CD from the Google MP3 files and got very smooth transitions and no pops at all.

Damn this is good, almost none of it is the same as my Chameleon Brussels Affair CD. Midnight Rambler is the same, but I think that's it!

I know I have some alternate tracks from the Brussells/Wembley recordings but I'm too lazy to look them up and compare. I am guessing most of this is from the 2nd Brussels show and the boot was mostly the first show and Wembley? Actually, I am glad these are different versions, makes it fresher!

Brown Sugar, Street Fighting Man and parts of ADTL also comes from 1st Brussels. And yes, I'm so glad that most of it comes from 2nd Brussels.
We only had 6 tracks in circulation from 2nd Brussels show.....and those were in muddy mono quality - and not good sounding.
