Just finished listening to Bernard new album. I like it a lot. He does three great versions of The Letter. His version of Knocking is very hip hop and enjoyable and I don't like hip hop as a rule. Blues song My friend Sin, is excellent. Will You Miss Me, another good song.

I'd recommend it.

I don't like it...only two decent songs.

Yeah, it didn't do much for me as well. Was disappointed with high expectations. Seems too unfocused and pandering for modern sounds on classic songs. And bOrInG!

I can only comment on the two songs shared here... From the reviews it seems that they might be two of the best on the album. All I know is I like 'em both. Thanks NL & CR for sharing. I'll attempt to sample the rest before I buy. Early thought as I listened to "My Friend Sin", I could have stood a bit less Slash. Similarly to many comments when KR released his album, I do hope that MJ is listening to his bandmates albums for potential sources of inspiration for what a new Stones album could sound like.

Note: I listened to a bit more before hitting "Post Message" and, although nothing has made me run to amazon to start the shipping process, there seems to be some good stuff here.
