One of my favourite Chuck Berry songs is Nadine, yet it is seldom covered, in fact the only cover that springs to my mind is, well Im not sure of the movie but I remember Cheech and Chong doing it, anyway is there a decent cover that I may have missed that is worth a listen.

Mike Nesmith did a version on his Live at the Palais album. From what I remember it was nothing to write home about; not bad, but not great either. It did have Al Perkins on the guitar, though.

Nadine is probably covered less due to the fact that it's release was after the period when many acts would cover Berry's music.

my fave chuck berry song. john hammond has covered this a few times...my fave version being on his hot tracks album with the nighthawks. i like the song enough to name my german shepherd after it......nadine???? is that you?????

I was in a band that did it. Nadine has a little bit different of a shuffle feel than the "typical" Chuck Berry songs.

That's the one that Bruce singles out because of it's "coffee colored cadillac" lyric in "Hail Hail Rock'n'Roll", that had really struck me...with Keith and Chuck's fight over Carol's intro ;-)
