I recorded it just yesterday.
Me on my Taylor through a 66 blackface Super Reverb on slide.

You can just make out the wife shouting at me to turn it down.

Let us listen to it, Munich.

Happened to listen to Robert Wyatt's Comicopera a couple of weeks ago, for some reason I haven't listened to it yet and I was blown away.

That drummer from Wilco - he is my favorite drummer in rock today. I can not get into most of Wilco at all, but that drummer is a monster. I have seen him/them many times; he used to play like a Gospel drummer. Incredible.
How do you post a video from youtube so that the video comes up? Whenever I link something from the tube I just get the link in the post.

One song by Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings - pure pop with soul - and I mean real soul...not Amy Winehouse

Nothing new, but I have been hooked on that lately

Still trying to understand what sort of song it is. Funk with a little bit of Devo style and flamenco flavor

Just finished listening to Chuck Berry's "The Anthology, Disc 1" I had to catch my breath when "Sweet Little Rock & Roller" came on. Just put Disc 2 in. Having a hard time concentrating with "Back in the USA" playing. And to think, "Nadine", "You Never Can Tell" & "Tulane" are all still to come - along with 23 others. It's gonna be a good day... Chuck singin' to me before the end of my first cup of coffee.

Peace,
Mr DJA

Saw MBV here in the U.S. They gave us ear plugs when they took our tickets. They were so loud I could literally feel the air moving from the sound. The physical assault of the volume made my wife sick to her stomach (the vodka tonics beforehand probably didn't help) and we had to leave during "You Made Me Realise". One of the weirdest concert experiences I've ever had.

Why would you play so loud that you need to issue earplugs to your audience?

I just heard 'I go to pieces' by Del Shannon for the first time.
Pretty amazing song.

The new single from the Black Keys 'Lonely Boy' is great too. Heard both of those today.

Oh yes Joker, I have spun that song plenty of times myself. there is something very hoakey about it, but it's wonderful. The original (it was written by Jon Anderson from Yes and Vangelis) is pretty much the same; except Donna sings it better.
