Most people confuse intelligence with education. I'm extremely poorly educated myself but I'm still a f*cking genius! smileys with beer

It's mind blowing that both the Beatles, in separate ends of the same country, would gather extremely talented people into groups. I can't believe no one mentioned George alongside John and Paul. Maybe George couldn't write as many winning songs as that duo, but his songs alone would have give the average artist an incredible career.

And think of the Stones. They didn't start out together. Starting with Brian and Stu, they went through various people before deciding on the perfect five. I'm not even sure they knew what they had in Bill Wyman until years later, but he was the one, the penultimate Rolling Stones bass player. And who knows if Mick and Keith had even considered being a songwriting partnership until Oldham just pushed them together and wham. Jagger is obviously smart. But that has never played well to the masses. Like the smart kid in school who keeps raising his hand to answer the teacher's questions, while his school mates roll their eyes.

Jagger could kill it. I really believe that Jagger's intellect is unmatched in the rock star arena.
Sting, Bono....
no competition. You name it: music, art, history, literature politics...high society...
Jagger is not as articulate as those guys, which bears no relation to IQ or intellect. I think those guys are more pretentious, fancy themselves as journeymen intellectuals and more obnoxious about it but Jagger is the real deal.
He just seems to like to hide it, even embarrassed by it.

Keith is also incredibly bright, he just doesn't show it in a traditional way. You can't write Gimme Shelter unless you're incredibly gifted. The man just lives a simple philosophy. Keith and Mick are both drawn to simplicity, but in very different ways.

it seems this is very important to you. i wonder if it would upset you to learn that the lads were actually incredibly stupid.

It's not particularly important, but it is very interesting.

Jagger always seems uncomfortable discussing serious issues....hence, he seems to stammer....that's what I mean by not as articulate.

Sting and Bono revel in their intellectual pretentions. Jagger likes to play it down...
and can seem a bit all over the place at times when speaking.

anybody that can stay famous in this field for decades is pretty damn smart. Although I dont like her music, Madonna is also pretty damn bright about manipulating the media and its made her a fortune.

I agree. Her IQ far outweighs her talent.

you want shallow??.....this is Steven Tyler on his fashion line at Macy's...."I’m androgynous... I’ve just got more female energy. I like that flowing and nurturing and I’m a songwriter, so I’m into form and fashion and how it all goes together. Always have been, so it’s just perfect.”

he's a 63 year old with bad plastic surgery...that's shallow.
