My opinion is that Ronnie is one of 2 of the members that earns money now a days with different projects. I don't think he needs the Stones anymore!
But he thinks of the fans though , which sensitive Mrs Brenda Jagger don't!
Mick is a bullock and crap these days and that shows in the project with a name I won't regard as anything else than a paycheck. Or maybe not cause he won't make money out of that one!

As Jagger earn about 100 - or 1000 times as much on Stones tour than a project like SuperHeavy, it's quite obvious that Jagger is into such projects just because he likes doing them; or feels that he has something to prove or whatever. But you couldn't say that about a Stones tour, as it is a huge money-making tivoli. So there's quite a big difference.
Man, relax, eh? Richards is making his album right now , maybe he'll tour with it - you have all the reasons to be happy. Why do you need this greedy bitch Jagger - she can't sing, can't dance, she's total embarrassment. Stick to your man Keef!

My opinion is that he really meant what he said.

You're way off, sorry. He was recently broke, it was documented many times. No way he is getting all that much from these 'other' projects.
BTW, if you read Ronnie's book, he follows a pattern of going broke, it has happened to him at least 3 or 4 times now. Dude can't handle money.

Nice clocks. ROn would earn a fortune doing a tour and Im sure he needs it, but doing a tour at his age is hard work and so fair play to him for still wanting to put himself through that and all the temptations which would accompany a tour.

I guess he gets good royalties after 35 years with Stones, some 10 years with Faces, Birds and Jeff Beck Group.
He wrote and co-wrote quite many songs with Faces, Birds and Jeff Beck Group. Saying he is in desperate need for money is probably exaggerating a bit - even if he has been a mess moneywise, he probably has the money he needs.

Come on, they all live off the glow of fame each new tour affords them. You think anybody would give a shit about Keith being a friggin' film pirate if they'd disbanded after '89? All their little side projects are possible because of the Stones aura. They've all had their fun. They know it's time to turn back for one more go, on stage, as the Stones. Let them figure out how to get the most pay for the least amount of effort. Should there be a new album (probably), and/or a Greatest Hits package? (Played out but will probably happen too). What kind of staging and band? Over the top or stripped down? What 'special' things should be wrapped around the 50th Anniversary? What's in the vault to sell in 2012 now that we've played out the Exile and Some Girls era? So many questions that a fleet of people are probably hammering out as we speak.

fans? ha. they only see $ signs, and if you've done something for 50 years, don't you think that's long enough. besides the economy is not right for charging $400 a ticket.

You're way off, sorry. He was recently broke, it was documented many times. No way he is getting all that much from these 'other' projects.
BTW, if you read Ronnie's book, he follows a pattern of going broke, it has happened to him at least 3 or 4 times now. Dude can't handle money.
