OT: Remembering Jack Bruce

Inspired by the recent Jack Bruce/Mick Taylor Band thread I can't seem to find now- Good Lord, remember the late sixties/early seventies- real musicianship, heroin notwithstanding- absolutely dwarfs todays shite.

Thanks for sharing.

Jack Bruce was the most talented individual to pick up a bass imo. My ultimate bass hero and not to mention a great pianist, cellist and songwriter too.

True, but some of today's musicians have learnt that drugs, particularly heroin are not condusive to consistently producing quality work.
Clapton grew up....sadly both Bruce and Baker (and of course Grech) were in many respects talents and careers wasted.
