OK, for the likers of the album, let's do a little poll...what is the best song on SH (you can include the 4 songs in the deluxe edition if you like)

If you don't like the album, but still like even one song, please feel free to post as well.

I'm actually finding this hard to answer myself, as I like a lot of the toons.

At the moment, I'll go with Unbelievable, although any of the first 5 tracks are excellent, as are Beautiful People, Rock Me Gently, Mahiya

But for Damian's rap, I'd go with "I Don't Mind" hands down. Otherwise I'll probably stick with "Never Gonna Change" although "Warring People" would be a runner-up.

Approximately in that order, yes.
Also sort of an alternative running order.
Regarding the other four: don't like one, with the other three having liked parts and un-liked parts.

Energy was an earlier favourite, and it seemed with a number of fans, but that enthusiasm seems to have waned a bit, for some of the other tunes.

I haven't seen it on anyone's list yet.

I can't either! I really love the cd. I think the lyrics and different sounds are very interesting. I hadn't heard anything of Damian Marley but I absolutely love him on this cd. I think Mick sounds great and don't get the criticisms I've read on the board about him oversinging. I tried to narrow down to my top five but decided I'm crazy about all of these:

Superheavy - This is sooo catchy. I loved it instantly. It's number one on the album and when I listen to it, I always think it's my favorite, but then I hear the next song
Unbelievable - Love Mick on this and reminds me of something the Stones would do. I love the lyrics, chorus and beat!
Miracle Worker - Makes me feel like I'm at a festival on the beach....doesn't get much better than that
One Day One Night - Had to listen to this a couple of times, but very unique and provocative...and interesting lyrics....love it!
Never Gonna Change - It's all Mick and I think he sounds beautiful on it.
Beautiful People - another song that makes me feel like I'm at a festival
Rock Me Gently - Great lyrics and mood of this song. Damian is really great on this.
I Don't Mind - More great lyrics and singing

Energy was played this morning on ESPN...sounded really good.

I haven't gotten it in the mail yet so I cannot comment.

Yes, what the hell is up with that? I've bought from Amazon, and bought the CD and LP together to get the 'waived' shipping. I think the LPs release has been delayed, causing the whole shipment to be delayed.

I'll put my hand up and say I like 'I Can't Take It No More'. Seems like 'Rock and a Hard Place' Part 2 to my ears.

I really like that some songs grow on me - like "Superheavy", 'I Can't Take It No More", or "Unbelievable".On the other hand there were some I liked right away - "I Don't Mind" "Never Gonna Change", "Miracle Worker", "Energy" "Common Ground"

Gotta Walk (And Don't Look Back), cool Mick and great Peter Tosh on guitar

To name one favorite would not do justice to the other songs. I really like the whole album
a lot and would strongly recommend it to everybody. It has given me already a lot of fun, while
listening to it.

Just as long as the guitar plays, let it steal your heart away

Difficult to say, i think it's a really 'loud' album.

But in my opinion is 'world keeps turning' the best song of superheavy.

Hard to pick just one but I really play Common Ground a lot. Just love the rhythm.
