i think the opening song would be different IF we get a tour than it would be WHEN we get a tour...

As in, IF we get a tour, the opener would be, "If You Can't Rock Me", and WHEN we get a tour, the opener would be, "When The Whip Comes Down"?

In 1994 I managed to get onto the pier for the Stones' Voodoo Lounge press announcement. I was standing around beforehand with a local TV reporter, and we struck up a conversation.
It was to be the first Stones tour without Bill Wyman. Because I would be too embarrassed to asked the Stones any questions myself, I suggested that he ask them if it was safe to assume that they wouldn't be playing "In Another Land" on this next tour. Needless to say, he didn't get it ... this inside Stones-humor.

i don't think it's fair to assume he didn't get it...maybe he just got tired of hearing the same old questions.

No, I don't mean that Mick Jagger didn't get it!

He didn't know much about the Stones except that they were old geezers on tour again.
