I think Keith´s Boogies had graphic equalizers

The photo is a Mark 1 .

The graphic EQ was inroduced with the Mark 2 & 3 models in the early 80s.

I'm sure that an expert will be along shortly with a bit more detail winking smiley

The picture is from a MKIIB.

EQ's where available as an option from the very start of production. Keith's main Boogie MKI had all the options of 50/100 watt power switch, Reverb, EQ and input volt selection.

A MKIIB is a really great amp, but it sounds rather different to a MKI. The MKI sounds closer to the Princeton it was derived from, with clear treble, while the MKIIB has thicker midrange gain.

That's something I've learnt today then. winking smiley

I've never taken too much interest in the specifics of the various Boogies ...largely because I could never afford any of them !

Never heard a Boogie I didn't like though

This is where the beauty is, to get it at a very fair price....lower than 1000$. A a perfect working amp, new tubes , ready to rock....

this amp has all the options in the back : Presence, Reverb and input volt selection, i just added the 5 Bands EQ pedal from Mesa Boogie in the loop, as i am used to it (i play with a Mark IV in my band : www.rollingwithedward.ch)
