Anyone see the similarities in sound between these 2 great albums?
Even "Talk About Jesus" is so similar to "Just Wanna See His Face".

Yup. Clearly a ripoff for Just wanna see... The Stones answer Delaney&Bonnie, they just wanna see his face not talk about it.

Bobby Keyes and Jim Price played with D&b and Jimmy Miller produced their live album. Bobby Whitlock played on Just Wanna See His Face. I don't think the Stones were working too hard to hide their admiration.

D&B had it really going on. Their own name is not that famous, but one can tell that all the big ones gathered around them, and tried to grasp what it was.
IMO that is where all the great spirit of the great albums came from - Exile, Layla, All Things Must Pass, Cocker "With a little help".
