Red Vinyl 10" RSD New Barbarians Doesn't Exist
Posted by: StonedALIVE ()

Does anybody have this New Barbarians 10" in "blood red vinyl" as originally advertised by the Record Store Day website?
I am hearing that they were all pressed in black vinyl and there were no red ones made.
Thanks.

Thanks for checking your collections, looks like red vinyl never existed.

Right: They were advertised as red but weren't.

I haven't see any red edition of this one, but they weren't all pressed in black vinyl.

See here and here.

I believe he is only talking about the 10" record store day release, which were all black vinyl, as far as anyone knows.

Yeah, I got it on Record Store day, and there were a lot of folks posting that entire week. No one saw or got a red vinyl copy. But that fits with the pirate image of The Barbarians. Everything is so wrong it feels right.
