Yes, I know TT. That is the current price level for a vg or better mono copy, 300-600 €, but I still feel that the availability is not justifying the high prices sellers ask for them.

treacelefingers,
Here is one to close your collection gap.
I've two of them, both 1A-2A (non boxed)
1) Sticker & poster
1) Sticker & poster & booklet
Greets,

thx tioms! I may have forgot to mention I'm a cheap bastard, which at least partially explains the gap in my collection to this point!

I agree here. Fair price should be between 200-250 euro for a complete one although market seems to be far over 300 up to 600(!). Thin To everyone who paid more than 250 euro: you can you make up for the over-priced unboxed Decca by finding a boxed Let It Bleed; not easy to find but serious savings can be made because not a lot of people know that this is worth way more than the unboxed Decca for the simple reason that there are not too many out there.....

Same goes for Through The Past Darkly mono; unboxed Decca is expensive, not as expensive as the Let it Bleed, (which also indicates that Let It Bleed is over priced) but the boxed mono is the real deal.

happy hunting

About the sleeve on 12 x 5 advance / test sleeve versions.

I believe that these sleeves were made in UK. Now we only need to put a name on the manufacturer as well. Same company was used by EMI and the different labels connected to EMI

Thank you Jan for backing up my theory..smiling smiley

The last hour the following albums were sold on ebay for absolute top prices.
All first pressings, so all unboxed Decca and all items were M- to M condition, which obviously explains the high biddings.
Also not a one off as there were many bidders for each line.

No.2 (LK 4661) 271 euro
Big Hits (TXS 101) 391 euro
Have you Seen Your Mother Live (SKL 4838) 756 euro
Between The Buttons (SKL 4852) 395 euro
Flowers (SKL 4888) 550 euro
Satanic (TXS 103) 565 euro
Beggars Banquet (SKL 4955) 335 euro
Through The Past Darkly (SKL 5019) 521 euro

In my opinion really high but I guess it will be more and more expensive as long as they are in great condition; mono's will be even more expensive..

Still if you look around very carefully, plenty of good deals can be done..
Happy hunting!

I have both the Australian Stereo alt 12 x 5 and the UK export Stereo 12 x 5, and this is so awesome that so many are sharing so much on this.

I DO have an extra Stereo Made in UK for US stereo (blue) label for sale or trade.

I call it cheap.
Mine was €5365 (£4123) years back.

Edit post: Crisis has dropped down prices, only 4 bidders.

Nice, it's a milestone in the group's discography: I still remember how surprised I was when I listened to it for the first time. Enjoy and don't forget to buy 'Some Girls' too: the best sound ever?

Not exactly a ground breaking item, but still very collectible is one of my recent purchases. I got a copy of the British 'Mixed Emotions' 7" due to the presence of the plugger's sticker on cover and was happy to realize this copy has a totally different matrix number. On top of that, the data is hand-written and sticks to UK CBS standard, unlike the most of the other British 'ME' singles (pressed abroad?).
After all, one can't get heavy items any given parcel comes in...
Bye,

Couldn't care less, honestly,
When I met BW at the Colomba d'Oro restaurant in Saint Paul de Vence (he was with Nick Mason of Pink Floyd) he refused to sign his book I had just got at his esibition. I won't pay for his autograph now...

That's very out of character.

I have seen him signing loads of stuff when approached. Once someone handed him one of his vinyl albums to sign, so he (Bill) stopped the general hubbub that surrounded him and asked the person if he just happened to have it (the album) with him. The person responded that when he knew Bill was present he'd rushed off and bought it. Memorable.

Odd.

well autograph or not, I was thinking about it more from the 'boxset' of vinyl, and the 500 pressing limit. Just wondering how many amongst us picked this up. I'm surprised this hasn't sold out yet, with only 500 copies available, although maybe I shouldn't be!

I can´t help it, - had to post it, - been looking for it SOO long . . .
"Wild Horses" US-7"Promo, - Long and Short version, - in STEREO.
In my experience on of the Hardest-To-Get of those promos . . .
but here it is, - and looks really like a DJ-copy !

Yes, congratulations! I also have this. The one I'd like to know a bit more about is the test pressing of Brown Sugar. It doesn't have Stones logo or DJ reference on it, but is on a white label. Anyone aware of the value of that?

It's Blue London label in a box, but mono LL3420

Suggestions or reminders how to post a photo?
