cant believe! its never to late! after 20 years search, last sunday on a record fair, i found
the record again, that i sheepishly gave away, so long ago.
maybe thats the reason, why we all love the stones so much, man, they guide us.
the record is the first hot rocks pressing with the shelly 11/18/1971 matrix.
an its a gas ! believe me frank! greetings gerhard

Hi Lippmann. I'm very happy for you. It's moving when something like this happens. Know what you mean, been in a similar situation myself, not with a record but a VW Voodoo Lounge watch. So, I guess you will hold onto this copy, right. Keep rocking and cheers!

Hi frankotero,

We are speaking for 200 RSM 1. UK issue
180 non signed albums.
20 signed albums
I bought this one in Jan 2012 (only the lp with the letter)

About RSD 1 How many?
I've bought this one in 1976.

Guess the fact 20 were signed went by me un-noticed. But I'm sure I read Jan Richards facts. Probably all them, since I've learned so much from his site. Perhaps the most information about Decca UK is there? Tioms, is that your all time favorite in your collection? I have the U.S. copy but to be honest I like my African LP better (the first one) or even Beat Beat Beat. Then afterwards I value most the early Spanish EPs. And perhaps even cooler is a Greek multi-color 45 Let's Spend The Night Together. Wow, I dig those multi color discs.

Hi Jan,
Jan, do you have now the DECCA MONO "HAVE YOU SEEN YOUR MOTHER LIVE"?
As I can read that you have all the mono's DECCA.
Greets,

frankotero, what a question!
"""Is this your all time favorite?"""
I also have mono "Have you seen your mother live" Decca red label.
The Japanese LP: "Rolling Stones Special Coupling Digest Japan Promo LP Record".
Issued for the cancelled Japan Tour 1973.Fewer than 10 are believed to have surfaced or in collections. LP: DY-4801-3

What to say about collectors they have: (I don't have them) (never seen for selling)
Sleeve "Beast of Burden?"
"Street Fighing Man?"
Greets,

While I am NOT the seller - this as rare as it gets piece is now up on eBay for sale at a reasonable price. (There's another that's been up forever which is much higher priced.)

I'd LOVE to trace the known-owned copies of this, as I think that there are less than 8 known to be in the hands of collectors.

Would love to hear from anyone out there who also owns a copy of this.

By the way....

Stonesstein, congratulations on the Big Hits !!!!

Jan, thank you! All of us among both this list and in Stonesworld are so unbelievably indebted to you. Thanks, man, thanks! Your site is a legend!

Can you tell us what 2 LPs you got?

Well, let's put it like this:
I have now been able to complete the collection of Rolling Stones Lp's pressed in UK in the 60's on the Decca label.
I have all UK mono / stereo and all UK nonboxed / boxed LP's
So, a milestone in my project reached. Still a bit to do then on the Decca UK pressed London LP project smiling smiley

Congrats Jan my friend smileys with beer

Thanks NICOS ! It only took me about 25 years to complete the collection. You guys that try to do the same and still have one or two or three to go knows how hard it actually is. There are not really that many complete collections out there. I know of maybe three or four of them in addition to my collection.

Greets, Luc,
PS: How many do you think are known or in collections?

Hi Luc,
If you ever wanna get rid of your RSM-1 (hope I did not understand you wrong in your last post), I'd appreciate you get in contact with me as well (see my profile).
As Jan wrote, not many collections are complete and such is mine regarding UK records (although complete for all german long players, EP's and singles and nearly complete for US, except Streetfighting Man single w/ riot cover). I'm still looking for the last two ... RSM-1 (signed or unsigned) and HYSYML mono :-(

Cheers
Andreas

I, too, would sure be interested in seeing what you have to sell (especially your signed RSM-1) once you do decide that is what you wish to do.

Hi treaclefingers,
I'm a little bit confused about your words "HATE TO BE" as English is not my motherlanguage.
About the link, I'm obliged not to speak about as they don't sell outside Japan.

So, here it is:

Greets and succes, tioms,

Thanks tioms...by "HATE TO BE" i meant I didn't want to have to ask for the link, as it's something one should be able to seek out. Thanks for the link...I did find that general link...what I meant was the actual link to the page that sells the Brussels vinyl.
