Tom Waits is f&ckin brilliant! Funny clip.
But more than that - the music for the first time in a while - sounds not only great, but also exciting again.
It happened that two of my alltime favorite artists Tom Waits and Lucinda Williams had kind of brilliant-ized themselves onto a plateau. Where they rally, but have evened out. Lucinda has not excited or surprised me since "World Without Tears". Tom Waits has not startled me since "The Black Rider".
So here T. Waits seems to come with a new sound; something unexpected.

I agree completely about Lucinda, not so about Tom. Mule Variations, Real Gone, and Orphans were all spectacular - or at least had some spectacular stuff on them. Really looking forward to the new one. This is great news.
