I have them all, and they are must owns. Unbelievable sound, and great packaging.
Yes, you can still find some titles at the big box retailers, as most people really don't buy from them, so they seem to sit as inventory for a very long time.
As they are out of print, I think they're a little more expensive now online...don't remember the last time I've checked ebay or amazon.

You are right treacle fingers...Exile on Main Street is sitting in our Walmart under Rolling Stones, it's been there for months and no one has bought it for 9.99 dollars! I haven't because I really only like up to Let it Bleed...hope that doesn't make me a bad fan...but stuck in the sixties.

It does not make you a 'bad fan'. If you have the cash, you should consider picking it up though, as you may grow to like it. It is the one album that I can listen to anytime...it really never gets old.
Not to mention the stereo mix of Mother's Little Helper.Quote

Argued by whom? That's nonsense, as it's the only place you can find the full-length version of "Out Of Time".

Yes, you can see how the music was very similar...Exile seemed quite dark and depressing, everyone was coming out of the exciting sixties and it seems the music reflected that...I know Exile period is considered by many their best, and who could beat Mick Taylors beautiful slides from his time in the band..., just prefer their great melodies from the sixties period..

I actually find Exile far more upbeat than Let it Bleed. That, I think is a fairly dark album. I mean, it kicks off with Gimme Shelter (possibly their best
song, but obviously very dark).

Well, good point, really never thought of it that way, maybe because Gimme Shelter was just about the best ever song of the sixties ( after Paint It, Black!) now that's a real dark one too... Literally and figuratively !

Got all the hybrids.
It's the SACD hybrid digipacks that are more scarce. The DSD version in plastic cases are
abundant. Right?

The ABKCO reissued vinyl of Beggars Banquet sounds absolutely fantastic. One of the best sounding I've ever heard.

In general, last years box set of sixties UK releases, was the most fantastic release yet, soundwise, on physical medium. They actually created a much 'warmer' sound than any of the cd re-issues, even if they where taken from the same digital files as the 2002 SACD's. A crystal-clear example of how much the mastering process is important for good sound.

I'm gearing up to finally get the 2002 ABKCO Reissues.

This makes no sense. First it says:
The Rolling Stones plan to sell high-quality downloads of their first 27 records for the first time online.
They don't have 49 LPs out, which means they can't have a second 27 records.
