Ronnies flat bed truck painting

I believe there were 250 original paintings of this done and only so many copies done around 50 i think.

Toying with the idea of buying one < should have taken the plunge years ago> , but it looks like mainly the USA is the place to buy one.

The problem is are they original and how could anybody know its a guaranteed item.

Out of interest anybody own a piece of ronnies art?

Michael, There were 250 prints on canvas and 295 prints on paper plus AP's of course. The subject matter was actually my idea :-) Ronnie had asked what he should paint for his 30th anniversary. I can help you for sure...

When you say 250 originals above I think you mean authentic prints. An original is something there is only one of or the source piece for an edition of prints.

I have an extensive collection of Ronnie art including many original pieces.

There are a few bits in the "add photos of your rarities" thread as manofwealthandtaste points out however I do also invite those who share my passion to come and view some of the highlights in person (I live near Tower Bridge - that's the pretty one).

I relatively recently moved and have upgraded from "the loft" to a display room. It's not possible to see everything as I have a warehouse, a storage unit and stuff stashed all over the globe but you can get to see many of the best bits. I had a little opening party of my own the other night. Many thanks to Kristin Klein for taking some fabulous pictures:

I'll post some of the close ups of stuff in the rarities thread:

Hi Matt I might take you up on your kind offer.

I purchased "Philadelphia 1981" & overpaid for it. I was at the show & am happy with the piece but overpaid by a fair amount so my advice would be patient and diligent. Check multiple sources.

I used multiple sources and found some to be better than others. I thought I was patient but after I purchased mine I saw one ebay for about 1/2 the price. It was from a private seller but she had the same certificate from the gallery I bought mine at.

Great pics Matt. I enjoyed looking at the guests, as much as trying to take in your treasures.

Anyone interested in viewing shoot me a private email on: mattleeuk@gmail.com and I will try and arrange some times. Evenings and weekends are usually ok but if there is a lot of demand then doing small groups would be helpful. I am very passionate about collecting the Stones so am delighted to share that passion with anyone that's interested!

I see pauly!!

My prize possession is "Mick with Harmonica" Bought it quite a few years ago now - Bill Germain turned me onto in at the SF Art Gallery. Got it for a good price and it's worth a lot more now but I would never sell! Its the green one. I absolutely love it.
