A legend, a gent and a nice guy. RIP wee Ronnie, my fellow Scot and Heart of Midlothian FC supporter. He was honourary president of London Hearts Supporters Club.

Feel sad about this sad smiley Yet another part of growing up gone. Four Candles! (fork handles ? )

There's actually a Weatherpoons Pub in Oxford (25 miles from my home) named 'The 4 Candles' in honour of the classic sketch.

Heaven is certainly busy this year, but Ronnie Corbett is there now.
Such a lovely man, and his wonderful sense of humour. I will miss him like
Many others.

Used to love his rambling anecdotes involving his producer. He was a tremendous old-school comedian.

I had no idea who he was until I was in Holland in the 90s and they had a BBC show where these little kids were asked questions by this little man, Ronnie Corbett. It was a charming show and the kids seemed to enjoy him.

I remember watching re-runs of the 2 Ronnie's in the 80's. I believe it was a small tv station out of Bellingham, Washington KVOS that used to show them as well as Benny Hill reruns which were also hilarious! I'm sure others in the Vancouver area might remember them?
Also, on the original Office series, I believe in the first episode, David Brent is doing his impersonation which nobody finds funny. He says Come on, that's the two Ronnie's, that's classic.
