The term for what I made is GIF not GAF. So that's a bit of a gaffe you made.
Although... since you are talking about good old black & white pics, perhaps you are referring to that good old brand of 35mm film: GAF ?

Hunkering down as we all get ready to see what Hurricane Irene has in store. Probably no new animated GIFs for a while ...
If anyone is interested... When I get back to this fun little side project, I am thinking of doing No Security and possibly December's Children.
For the latter title, I won't say what I am gonna do.. it'll be a surprise I suppose.
But for No Security, I was thinking of making a quick succession of Stones fans besides the couple shown on the real cover. Who are these two anyway?

Now it's over and boy, were we lucky... Our home is still here.
Tried to sleep through the worst of the hurricane. Couldn't sleep and heavy rains and winds woke me around 5 o'clock. Surprised we still had electricity. Looked at hurricane info on tv and on the internet. Went back to sleep eventually.*
Woke up again hours later and it is nice and sunny... Needed to check that the storm is really all done... that we're not gonna get round 2... not just in the eye of the storm.
Happy that some of our preparations now seem like overdoing it all the food ...
taping the ATTIC and bedroom windows, etc.

I'm fine with my kids *now* laughing and saying that I was overreacting before the storm, when I taped the windows in the ATTIC and the bedrooms.

And my kids, they just don't understand me at all
Today we cleaning up outside after Irene... We were very lucky this time...
The worst of it is hardly any water pressure in the house. And a little paint peeled off a window in the ATTIC when we took off the tape... no big deal either.
