SMU first night, JJF second night as opener. Which one tonight?

Have fun and be safe to those going to the concert.

It was +36 degrees C yesterday afternoon here in BA. Very hot. Then at midnight still +30 C. The sunny poster is telling a lot about the BA weather in fact. Yesterday was one of the hottest BA days all summer some say. Then we had a large shower tonight, while going to the Tim Ries show, which started at 1am in the morning. Today they say it will be great weather. May be we will see another goat on the way back. More about that in the BA-2 travel story...

I was just thinking the same thing. How about Satisfaction? I would love to see the stadium bounce to You Got Me Rocking.

If the Stones are 9pm onstage in La Plata, then it's 1am in Central Europe.

We also had spectacular, rain, thunder, lightning in La Plata last night. Right now (1:30 pm) it's overcast and about 30 degrees. I'd definitely expect a downpour sometime this afternoon.

Opener SFM.

I think low risk of rain at the gig tonight looking at the satellite images. Fingers crossed. the storm hit Buenos Aires about 10pm, hours earlier than forecast, so I'm not taking any wet gear....

for all those going tonight - have a total blast!

what a band!

It would be fun if they choose another opener than JJF and SMU, Street Fighting Man for example, but I bet they will go for Jumping Jack Flash tonight.

why would they leave for the stadium five hours before show time? Do the sound checks really take that long or how long before show time do they do the sound check?

They usually leave the hotel at 4 pm if the show starts at 9 pm, so yeah 5 hours.
