A good one, but actually you can´t do anything wrong when covering
one of the greatest songs of all times...

Rather whimsy lead vocals, don't you think?

I know the man hasn't been well, the last couple of ...oh, years I think?!; so let's go easy on him - but the lead vocals ARE poor-poor-poor here imo.

I think that GNR's version ia better than this one. But here there are two great solos. I dont like lemmy's voice.

No matter how "dangerous" Motorhead and Lemmy are (or were), this is like a stroll through Disneyland compared to the original.

Ha! Yeah Lemmy is the last one you would expect to emasculate that song but I agree with you here. That was comical.

Lemmy had to abandon a show the other night when taken ill after only four songs. But he vows to carry on to the bitter end.

I think the rock 'n roll-loving world should be grateful that Keith managed to cut-back and take more care with his lifestyle whilst he were still able. Lemmy was seemingly going at it full-throttle right to the point of, almost, no return. He is a undoubtedly a genuine legend of British music. From hanging with Hendrix, to being bassist and singer-songwriter with Hawkwind and Motörhead; he's had the lot, and then some. Lemmy, we salute you.

Like some movies, some songs, are PERFECT! and should never even be attempted to be remade or re-recorded, because there is no chance that the remade song or movie will be an improvement... and yet... all the time Hollywood and others are doing it. Silly Wabbits

It's OK, but the intro sounds a bit like... "Rasputin"

Lemmy on the Stones. grinning smiley (from Vice interview)

So if you had to say what the greatest act you ever saw was…

Hendrix and the Beatles. No doubt. Those two… you will never see anything like them again, because they were at the peak of their game and they came in and @#$%& wiped everybody out. Even the Stones. The Stones were secondhand next to the Beatles. It was only when the Beatles were gone that they could start calling themselves the greatest rock ’n’ roll band in the world, which they never were. They were always pretty ropy on stage. Without all that production they do now they would still be pretty ropy, because Keith is pretty ropy, isn’t he?

Well Lemmy they "called them self" the greatest R&R band before the Beatles released there last album .........

I had to look up ropy to see exactly what Lemmy was saying about Keith and the specific British definition is:

poor in quality or health; inferior.

Hmmm.

I liked it, and thought Lemmy did a great job, actually. Better than G'n'R's take on it.

Listened to it yesterday. Great Version, really driving and full of energy. Like that Version rather than many others

This probably hurts for Keith, as he is a Motörhead fan grinning smiley

Lemmy has always prefered the Beatles, pradoxically, when we think of his own melodically abilities or interests...

As a huge Motorhead fan who's met Lemmy, this is heartbreaking, but unsurprising. 50 years of non-stop speed, booze and cigarettes will take its toll. I'm supposed to see them in two weeks, but even if they do end up playing, I'm not sure I want to see Lemmy in such a feeble, frail state.

It's funny...after Keith's 2006 head injury, I would have said that he had lost the "indestructible" title to Lemmy, but now, almost a decade later, Keith is healthier than he's been in a decades, while Lemmy, sadly, may not live to see 2016.

Amazing.

Lemmy has never had nice things to say about the Stones.

He's a huge Beatles fan though which, like you said, is surprising given that his personal and musical style is much raunchier like the Stones.

Yeah sad poor guy, and I mean that sincerely.
He has always said he's probably going to die onstage...
