Amy wants to tour Belgrade
Amy Winehouse arrives in Belgrade on Friday evening, while part of her crew comes as soon as today. Those who are eagerly anticipating her show at Kalemegdan, and have perhaps been sceptical about the singer’s state of body and mind ahead of the European tour, will be glad to hear the stage has almost been completely built and that Amy has already held a behind-closed-doors gig on 14 June ahead of around 100 people in a London club
Amy recently spent some time in rehab, but on Sunday evening sang for the select crowd in London, which was a prelude to her European tour where she will hold twelve concerts. Those present at the concert claimed Amy was in top shape on the stage and even told jokes in intermissions.

British magazine The Sun has released details of Amy’s rider list for the Belgrade show and cited the singer’s agent who had requested that none of the rooms on the hotel floor where Amy would be staying have alcohol in them. It was later revealed the same request had been sent to all other destinations where Amy is to hold concerts on this tour.

Amy’s show starts at around 10.45pm on 18 June, while the singer will be accompanied by nine other musicians on the stage on the Kalemegdan Fortress. Her rider is compiled on 72 pages, and as we have unofficially learned, Amy has expressed a desire to do a sightseeing tour of Belgrade.

- “We are fully aware we are not doing a Celine Dion concert, but rather Amy Winehouse’s. That is the charm of the event she brings. We are also aware she has sold 11 million records and has never cancelled a show. Her management team are leaving nothing to chance and have sent us a rider on 72 pages. One of the first requests is that there will be no taking pictures, interviews or any media or promotional activities. However, they may have a change of heart in the last minute,” Boban Milosevski, Avalon Productions general manager, has said for Blic.

The programme will start at 6pm with a set played by DJ Selecter... from Venice.
Before the day’s headliners Amy Winehouse and Moby, other show openers will be Serbian band Zemlja gruva, Elemental from Croatia and Bei The Fish, who will be supported by a guest appearance from Macedonian singer Karolina Goceva.

- “Zemlja gruva, Elemental and Bei The Fish will perform because they most resemble headliners, but it was not our own decision, but rather Moby’s and Amy’s management teams had the final say in it,” said Segor Meskovic of Avalon. Amy’s show should be over by midnight, after which the crowd will see the performance of Moby.

Amy's still on stage and "sing" their popular hits, but judging by the reactions of the audience, all the bad sounds. Can not remember the words, trying to sing "Love is losing game", but it goes poorly. Previous track was "Back to Black", but few people managed to recognize it. At one point she threw the Microphone. The audience heard boos and cheers "Moby, Moby."

Amy is (when sober) one of the most honest and soulful singers of the last 30 years. I am still blown away by her voice, songwriting and performances. Unfortunately, she will die if she doesn't get help and we will have lost another.

There have not been many artists that have come along who can hold a candle to the classic artists of the past. Amy is one who can carry the torch...if sober.

I saw Stones 10 times, and it was the best. Firstly I saw them 1976, and wasn' important if they were sobber. Billie Preston and Olie Brown was sobber then.

World star Amy Winehouse has started a European tour last night in Belgrade scandalous performance.

The audience at Kalemegdan literally booed Amy, who in one hour and 11 minutes of the concert almost did not sing.

The point, however, took the American musician Moby, who is a great performance "raised" the Belgrade audience.

If you want to see a soulful band and singer, save your ticket money till Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings come to your town. Several of the Dap Kings played on Amy's Rehab and other songs. They are the real deal from Brooklyn. She's just a drunk.

true, but what irritates me about amy is that she really seems to hate to do her job. she seems digusted by her audience and just shows them the middlefinger for- well about 60 minutes! thats not cool. if she hates it so much, she just shouldnt tour - simple as that! keith, ozzy, lemmy...you name it, the were all in the stratosphere sometimes, but they delivered and loved their job. they were all strung out, but didnt behave like spoiled psychopaths....

I loved Amy's "Back to Black" album the first time I heard it. She is a great recording artist. On stage , by the videos I have seen on youtube, she doesn't seem that great. Being a great live performer night after night ain't easy to do; I don't think Amy is in that league yet. May be she should make records only and avoid touring until she is able to handle the pressure to be in front of a live audience. It takes guts, courage and to have something to communicate to stand up on a stage when people have paid $$ to see you. Good luck Amy.

This is just a long, drawn out train wreck. It's very much like watching a woman in a bar who has had way too much to drink, but she still thinks she's sexy when she shakes her ass in her slinky dress, not realizing it's just pathetic and sad. Why spend the money and make all the arrangements for a tour when it is this likely the star will instantaneously crash and burn? What a mess. This woman needs to go away for a very long time. Whatever "rehab" she has been doing obviously isn't taking. And her band has to put up with this humiliation. Just wretched.
