Best period for re-releases more like.
As for releases, this 6-year time frame has seen the release of only 2 songs, or 4 if you count Plundered and Following The River. Then there's a live album of Hyde Park I suppose.
Otherwise, I'd have to go for best period of releases as 1963-1983, and only two other bands can claim as long as a prime period for (new) releases.

Uh, well, 1998 was NO SECURITY and 2002 was FORTY LICKS so... 3 calendar years for sure - 99, 00, 01 - with nothing...

I would still count a "release" as something new, something that wasn't previously available as a bootleg for several decades.
