With most fans theres usually a few Stones songs and albums that have been there favourites right throughout there lives.But theres a few fans for some reason say that a certain Stones song used to be one of there favourites.What I want to know is what are the reasons behind someone changing there minds about a song that was once one of there favourites.Because obviously there must of been something about that particular song or album they liked for it to become a favourite of theres in the first place..so it can't be anything about the song or album that made them change there minds.

better have some sympathy and use all your well-learned politesse ...

Looks like you're overdoing it, getting childish and ridiculous.

When a lady tells you to shut up and she's so obviously right, then why don't you just do so instead of making more fuss? What drives you to insult her by stupid remarks about "her" prime minister? Irrespective of her nationality, he's not "her" prime minister.

Moreover, please make your home work prior to regorging on this message board. The prime minister of France is Monsieur Lionel Jospin, while M Nicolas Sarkozy is Monsieur le President de la Republique. Whomever you mean, there's no reason to insult either of them as "a funny look'n wee man". (Can I have some of that stuff you're smoking?) Neither do I see a reason for you to become political, which is strict taboo by the moderator's rules, btw.

Serious answer here...after the tours, I really needed to get some distance from the warhorses, because the constant repetition had made me begin to detest them, however great they were and however much I had loved them. I am starting to be able to listen to them and enjoy them again, now that some time has passed.

Some songs you just get tired of hearing for the umpteenth time, so they need a rest.

However, I never need a rest from Moonlight Mile - still my favourite.

this song makes me speechless - always anew

The Stones catalogue is like a roladex, for me. I have my handful have songs that are close to my heart.

Then maybe I'll experience something that makes me think of a Stones song, or vice-versa. That tune will be a fav for a while and so on. While that memory is still fresh. Think breakup, new love interest, fight, etc.

Satisfaction! It was OK the first 1,000 times........

I would have said Brown Sugar or Honkey Tonk, but I never liked them and they have had over 40 years to grow on me.
