For me he'll be remembered for that incredible Columbo episode "A Stitch in Crime" (1973). In that one Nimoy was dark scary and totally believable as a cld-blooded killer. thumbs up

This one hit me hard. I've loved Star Trek since I was a little kid. He lived long, and certainly prospered. RIP.

Spock rocked, and I always loved the timbre of Nimoy's voice. Love and light to him

1969 I emigrated to Sydney as a 17 year old and first remember Star Trek in the lounge where the TV was .

All us youngsters had our dose of Star Trek before the Dinner gong went about 6 p.m.

Great memorys of Mr Spock.

He was such a great actor in many other parts in Sea Hunt,Wagon Train,Rawhide and countless other TV shows and films.

R.I.P. Leonard Nimoy

To die at 83? Well, it does seem logical.

I've been collecting the DVDs of the U.S. TV show Get Smart, and before becoming famous for Star Trek Leonard Nimoy played a KAOS agent named Stryker in an episode from season 1 (air date: January 22, 1966) called The Dead Spy Scrawls in 1966.

This must be one of his earliest films - 1951 I think?

In The Man From U.N.C.L.E episode "The Strigas Affair", Nimoy and Shatner play adversaries a good two years before Star Trek. Kind of a cool coincedence.
